Graduate student Jianhang Shi attended and presented a poster titled “Single Phase Multiferroic: Fe Substituted Gd-Chromite [GdFe_0.5Cr_0.5O₃] thin films” at the Materials Research Society (MRS) Fall meeting, Boston, MA (2017).

Jianhang presented an oral talk titled “Enhancement in magnetocaloric effect of pure ErCrO3 with Gd doping” at the 62^nd Annual conference on Magnetism and Magnetic Materials (MMM), Pittsburgh, PA, 6-10^th Nov (2017).

Dr. Jain was a Panel member in SPECIAL RECOGNITION EVENT: WOMEN AT THE FRONTIERS OF FERROELECTRICS…at the 14th International Meeting on Ferroelectrics, San Antonio, TX.

Gabi Tagliaferro, and undergrad from Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Rutgers University has joined the group for summer REU 2017. Welcome Gabi!

Undergrad student Aisha got hands-on research experience in synthesizing and characterizing oxide materials for the magnetocaloric properties.
