Dynacool system from Quantum Design Inc. was installed in the lab.

UConn President Radenka Maric, Provost Anne D’Alleva, and Vice President of Research Dr. Pamir Alpay hosted Rector M. Naci Inci and his extraordinary team from Bogazici University in Istanbul. They visited Science 1, IPB building had Dr. Jain had chance to discuss the research with them.

Graduate student Jake finished his oral exam in physics with flying colors. Congratulations Jake!

A new postdoc Dr. Theodore Sauyet joined the group. He graduated from Stony Brooks University in 2023. He is not new to the group as he had done his honor’s thesis with Dr. Jain during his undergraduate studies at UConn.

It was our pleasure to have Dr. Leonardo Civale who recently retired from Los Alamos National Lab, to our group. He delivered a great CMP seminar on superconductors. 

Dr. Jain has been promoted to Full Professor!
